GPS Jamming Detection, Event Logging & Location
CTL3510The Chronos CTL3510 is a low cost, handheld, battery operated device designed to detect the presence of GPS jamming from commercially available jammers or too much power or interference in the GPS (L1) or Galileo (E1) bands, with event logging.
CTL3520The CTL3520 GNSS Interference Detector and Locator from Chronos is a handheld, battery operated device designed to detect and quickly locate the presence of GNSS / GPS jamming signals from commercially available jammers or too much power or interference broadcast in the GPS (L1) or Galileo (E1) bands.
JAMMERCAMThe world’s first jammer triggered camera, JammerCam from Chronos triggers a photo trap of a passing vehicle carrying a GPS L1 jammer. JammerCam emails the image of the vehicle via a server to your phone within seconds of the event. |
Vehicle Mounted GPS Jamming Detection
CTL3510 can be dashboard mounted as a hijack alert early warning system or covertly deployed for moonlighting driver detection.
The threat from truck and lorry hijacking is increasing, with valuable loads being targeted. Increasingly, hijackers are using GPS jammers to defeat vehicle geolocation systems before, during and after the hijack event. Typically CTL3510 will detect portable jammers up to 300m away depending on their power. Although the Chinese web sites that sell jammers only claim 1-10m range, this has been proven during jamming trials to be wildly inaccurate with ranges typically up to 400m on the well-established commercially available units and often even higher. The CTL3510 deployed as a hijack alert device could give a truck driver a valuable 20 to 30 seconds early warning of a pending hijack.
CTL3510 can also be deployed covertly if Fleet Managers suspect their drivers are using GPS jammers to hide their whereabouts if they are engaged in private work when using company vehicles. The device can be recovered next time the van is in the depot and the event list downloaded to a local PC for analysis to determine if the driver who was in charge of the vehicle was using a jammer.
