Chronos joins Hartpury Tech Box Park

Chronos Technology, a company offering deep specialist skills and expertise across a range of technologies including timing & synchronisation, smart solutions and related systems integrations and applications, has joined Hartpury’s Tech Box Park to explore how the team can work with farmers to find solutions for the agricultural industry.

Based in Lydbrook in the Forest of Dean, our employee-owned business provides solutions across industry, with strong expertise in the broadcast, defence and security, energy, enterprise IT, finance, telecom, and transport sectors.

Sales Analysis & Development Executive with Chronos, Lewis Owen said:
“We get excited about exploring a bit of the unknown…”
“The more data you get, the more insight you have to make better decisions that would otherwise be lost. By cross-comparing data with information farmers already have on one easy to understand dashboard, we can add real value and save farmers time, money, and energy costs.

Lewis continues: “Being employee owned, we all have a strong say in what happens which has created a fantastic energy in the company. I’m also personally excited to don a pair of wellies and have a chat, better understand farmer perspectives (particularly those working in vertical farming or with automated farm machinery which has sparked my interest) and talk with young, tech savvy farmers of the future – Hartpury students.”

With a 35-year pedigree of highly specialist technology solutions and services, Chronos are experts in creating and connecting business processes using smart technologies.

Catherine Briggs, Tech Box Park Centre Manager said: “We are thrilled to welcome the Chronos team and look forward to supporting them as they explore ways to accelerate their smart solutions to support the agri-tech market.”
