Launched in June 1993 as the British Association of Public Safety Communications Officials, British APCO, also known as BAPCO, is now acknowledged as the leading UK based Association for all professionals using or developing Public Safety technology.
British APCO is a growing community with extensive knowledge in Public Safety technology as a result of our members’ use and delivery of real life public safety solutions. As a registered charity, we are independent, user led, working to improve emergency services and public safety communications and information technology for everybody’s benefit.
Chronos has been providing unrivalled knowledge and experience in the supply and installation of GNSS solutions for over 30 years. We supply and install GPS repeater technology for Fire & Rescue Services (FRS) throughout the UK, bringing GNSS signals inside and eliminating valuable time to first fix (TTFF). We also offer ground-breaking GPS in tunnels solutions enabling the pinpointing of people and assets with a standard iPhone.
Additionally, we have designed GPS jamming and interference detection and location solutions which we supply to various UK police forces. We also supply Jackson Labs’ OEM modules subsystems and box-level solutions that include front-end receivers, transcoders, rack-mounted equipment, and patented retrofit technology.
