Mosaic-G5 P6
Ideal for size-constrained applications
Septentrio mosaic-G5 P6™ is an advanced multi-frequency GNSS receiver module in a low-power surface mount package. It offers heading and pitch or heading and roll angles in addition to high-accuracy positioning, ideal for autonomous navigation. With GNSS+ technology for resilience and reliability, Septentrio is now offering a performance benchmark in mass market GNSS positioning.
This module has low and predictable latency needed for stable and accurate control systems. It is easy to integrate and is compatible with popular open-source autopilots. It is ideal for drones, robots, autonomous systems and space-constrained devices which require accurate positioning with a high degree of resilience and reliability.
Ultra-compact in size and weight
Sized at only 22.8 x 16.4 mm, and with a weight of only 2.2 g the mosaic-G5 P6 has an outstanding size/power to performance ratio. mosaic-G5 P6 has market-leading ultra-low power consumption. It offers full raw data with positioning measurements and Galileo HAS positioning service compatibility.
Multi-frequency & multi-constellation GNSS receiver module
The mosaic-G5 P6 is a quad-band receiver, which makes use of all-in-view GNSS constellations and their signals for optimal availability, even in challenging environments where the view of the sky may be partially obstructed.
Evaluating the GPS / GNSS receiver
The mosaic-go G5 P6 evaluation kit can be used for easy testing and prototyping of mosaic-G5 P6 receiver.
GNSS+ technologies – top performance in challenging environments
The mosaic-G5 P6 is a quad-band receiver, which makes use of all-in-view GNSS constellations and their signals for optimal availability, even in challenging environments where the view of the sky may be partially obstructed.
Mechanical vibrations or shocks caused by rough terrain can wreak havoc with satellite tracking. LOCK+ automatically adjusts the parameters of this receiver so you never lose position.
Metal and large nearby structures can reflect GNSS signals and produce multipath. The APME+ system effectively disentangles direct and reflected signals enhancing both position and measurement quality. APME+ is bias free and, in line with Septentrio’s commitment to maximum configurability, can be disabled.
Advanced Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitoring (RAIM+) comprises fault detection mechanisms of the receiver at all the levels including the generation of measurements, quality control and navigation algorithms. Detected faulty measurements, which are typically caused by high multipath or active ionosphere, are removed from the solution.
Activity in the ionosphere is a problem for GNSS signals, from loss of RTK fix to total loss of signal lock. Having honed our skills, supporting applications in the most iono-active areas on Earth, the result is IONO+: the most advanced protection against ionospheric disturbances to GNSS signals on any receiver.
The mosaic-G5 P6 module offer AIM+ Premium functionality with enhanced jamming and spoofing protection offering superior narrow and wideband resilience and OSNMA authentication in demanding RF environments.
Easy-to-integrate with intuitive set-up and control software: RxTools
This GNSS receiver includes an intuitive user interface for easy operation and monitoring allowing you to control the receiver and analyse its data. This interface also offers easy-to-read quality indicators ideal for monitoring GNSS receiver operation during the job at hand. All interfaces, commands and data messages are fully documented. The RxTools software allows convenient receiver configuration and analysis.
